Critical event management (CEM) company Everbridge has been contracted to support the US Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Analytic Real-Time Virtual Information Sharing System (JARVISS).
The three-year contract has been awarded by the US Army and includes the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) and Air Force North (AFNORTH).
The US Air Force’s two subordinate commands have committed to adopting JARVISS to advance capabilities such as ‘respective threat information sharing and analytics’.

Two people were critically wounded in a shooting spree at an industrial park in Frederick, Maryland, on Tuesday before the suspect was fatally shot at a nearby military installation, police said.
The suspect, identified as a 38-year-old Navy medic, entered a business in the Riverside Tech Park and some people fled, but it was not immediately clear whether the shootings took place inside or outside the business, Chief Police Chief Jason Lando said.
