MEDFORD, MA Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn and the Medford High School GSA, led by co-advisors Nicole Chalifoux and Emily Simpson, will host a flag raising ceremony at City Hall Tuesday, June 1 to mark Pride Month in Massachusetts. Students from the GSA will join the mayor at the flag pole at 3 p.m. to raise the Pride flag. I am excited to join the Medford High GSA once again this year to celebrate the beginning of Pride month with a flag raising here at City Hall, Lungo-Koehn said. This year, it will be even more special to be able to come together as a larger group, and I invite all members of the Medford community to join us for the brief ceremony outside of City Hall on June 1.

Medford Senior Class excited about in-person graduation ceremonies

MEDFORD, Ore On Saturday, June 5, the the Medford School District Senior Class will be able to attend in-person graduation ceremonies, which will allow for more family and friends to attend. But for North and South Medford High Schools, the school district is having to get a bit more creative. According to the school district, North and South Medford High Schools will be hosting a combined eight graduation ceremonies for all 600 plus seniors, to allow for the maximum amount of family members and friends to attend for each student. Providing an experience for seniors that s memorable is super important, said Natalie Hurd, the Communications Director for MSD. It s one of the biggest moments in their lives. One of the biggest moments in their family s lives.
