- La Secretaría de Turismo firmó un convenio con la AMAV Jalisco para elevar el nivel de profesionalización de las agencias de viajes en beneficio de los turistas
- Se brindarán herramientas de capacitación para enfrentar el complejo escenario económico derivado de la pandemia por COVID-19
Para impulsar la reactivación económica y contribuir en la profesionalización del sector en beneficio de los turistas, la Secretaría de Turismo de Jalisco (Secturjal) firmó un convenio con la Asociación Mexicana de Agencias de Viajes de Occidente, A. C. (AMAV Jalisco), para implementar acciones de capacitación, crecimiento y actualización de estas empresas turísticas y a su vez, promover los destinos del estado en vías de recuperación.

Puerto Vallarta will host the 42nd edition of the Mexican Ocean Racing Circuit, MEXORC, from March 9-14 as part of the festivities taking place for its 100th anniversary. The destination is expecting to receive about 30 ocean-type sailboats ranging from 37 to 70 feet in length for this edition, each with an average of 12 crew members. Teams will be coming from Mexico, the United States, Canada, Germany, Holland, France and various South American countries.
The international regatta began in the 60’s and will begin this year’s competition with the “Centennial Puerto Vallarta Race” in celebration of Puerto Vallarta centennial.
“MEXORC is an international, world-class event that adds to the centennial celebrations taking place in Puerto Vallarta, but above all, it is an event that contributes to the efforts currently undertaken by the destination to attract tourists interested in the sports tourism segment” said Javier Aranda Pedrero, General Director of the Puerto Vallart
