A Wisconsin priest who criticized his diocese for not conducting in-person Mass during the pandemic has been asked by his bishop to resign from his post at St. James the Less Catholic Church in La Crosse.
The Rev. James Altman, who has characterized Democrats as godless, said he will appeal the request from Bishop William Callahan. The bishop told Altman he was divisive and ineffective, Altman said.
Altman has referred COVID-19 an “alleged virus” and discouraged vaccination, calling the vaccines “experimental.”
“Good Catholics from around the world have been supportive, Altman said at Mass Sunday. Unfortunately from our cancel culture, if the left whines, like they do, like spoiled brats, often enough they succeed in canceling so many voices of truth. And now they are whining like, if I may say it, like the pansy babies they are, to cancel me.

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Given a nationally televised chance Monday night to refute any standoff between him and his team, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers passed.
He also did not retire.
Instead, in an interview with ESPN SportsCenter host Kenny Mayne, Rodgers was careful to leave all options open for his future. Anything s on the table at this point, Rodgers said.
Rodgers did not arrive at voluntary organized team activities Monday when the Packers opened that phase of their offseason program. He is unlikely to be the only Packers player not participating in OTAs, given the leaguewide movement among players to skip voluntary workouts this offseason. But Rodgers has consistently been a participant in OTAs throughout his career, until now.

Amid rampant speculation about whether his 10-year run with the Atlanta Falcons could be coming to an end, Julio Jones further fueled rumors about a possible split.
On Monday, Shannon Sharpe called the wide receiver during Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. Sharpe asked Jones if he wanted to play for the Dallas Cowboys or remain with the Falcons. Over the weekend, a fan posted a photo on Twitter of Jones wearing a Cowboys hooded sweatshirt. I m out of there, man, Jones replied.
Sharpe followed by asking him where he would ideally play, to which Jones replied, I want to win. Sharpe then joked that Dallas would not be the place to do so.
