Bandai Visual Reveals Final Idolish7: Second Beat Anime DVD/BD Release Packaging

Bandai Visual is again handling the home video releases and it’s getting a seven-volume run where the DVDs are priced at 7,000 yen while the Blu-rays are priced at 7,777 yen. They were originally set to begin on June 24th, 2020 but were delayed with no new dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Back in June, they updated on the first volume only by giving it an August 27th, 2020 release date as well as revealing the artwork. Now, with the seventh and final volume set for a May 26th, 2021 debut, the packaging and cover artwork for that release has now arrived.

Bandai Visual Reveals Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199′ Blu-ray Anime Box Set Packaging

Bandai Visual is doing a bit of legwork in regards to the Japanese home video release for Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 TV series. With all the previous releases out there a new Blu-ray box set was previously scheduled for a March 26th, 2021 debut. With that coming up soon, the packaging spread for the set has come in to show the box and it’s definitely appealing with how it lays things out and ties into the compilation film box set as well. Sadly, it doesn’t look like it’ll have English subtitles like the single releases did years ago. It is priced at a sweet 18,000 yen, however, making it far more affordable for those wanting to own it. At the moment, it lists a booklet and a newly designed piece of artwork for the collection. It’s a seven-disc set.
