The Voice season 20 and after Tuesday, only the Top 9 will remain!
On Monday, each of the Top 17 artists took the stage for a brand new performance, in the hopes of continuing on to next week s show. Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas are able to offer critiques during the live shows, but the first round of voting is up to the fans.
On Tuesday, viewer votes determined the top performer from each team, and the coaches each had a save to use on one of their remaining artists.

The Voice kicked off the first live shows of season 20 on Monday, as each of the the Top 17 artists performed a brand new song, in the hopes of making it through to the next round.
The live shows also mean coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas are done sending artists home viewer voting will determine which of the Top 17 will get to move on to the Top 9 and then to the finals, to compete for the season 20 crown.

ET s Cassie DiLaura spoke with Kelly Clarkson and John Legend ahead of Monday s live show, where Kelly poked fun at John and wife Chrissy Teigen for setting the bar with a recent birthday party for their daughter, Luna, who turned 5 in April. On the way out, I was like, my daughter s birthday is next month, so thank you for the bar that was just set, Kelly joked of daughter River, who turns 7 in June. There was a pony, a mermaid! River was taking notes, John added with a laugh.

Monday s show kicked off this season s live performances with songs from each of the Top 17 artists. Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas are able to offer critiques during the live shows, but the first round of voting was up to the fans.

The Voice season 20 took the stage on Monday, and Cam Anthony closed out the night by taking everyone to church!
The 19-year-old Philadelphia native wowed the coaches with his soulful take on Hozier s Take Me to Church, showing off his commanding stage presence and ethereal vocal control as he brought the entire coaches panel to their feet for a standing ovation. Every time I hear Cam sing, it breaks my heart, noted John Legend, who was blocked from landing Cam during the Blind Auditions. Cam, I see such a bright future for you. You shine in every single way.
