Virtual Class: Dimensions of Wellness Examines All Aspects of Self
An interactive and engaging virtual presentation on Monday, Feb. 1, 10 to 11 a.m., provides insights into a wellness model incorporating the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, vocational and environmental aspects of life. Participants will be encouraged to review, recognize and celebrate their unique triumphs and what they are  already doing to live their best lives and what they might like to change. Presenter will be a transitional care nurse with Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging. This free event is sponsored by Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging and Plainville Senior Center.

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Four learners from the Eden / Karoo district excelled with their science projects at the virtual award ceremony for the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists competition.
Entering as a team, Nosiphiwe Nosi and Lelethu Ngqele (Grade 11) of Murray High School in KwaNokuthula, Plettenberg Bay, received gold for their project, Smart Sanitary Pad, under the category Biomedical and Medica Science.
Chloe Parry (Grade 10) at Bridgton Secondary School in Oudtshoorn received bronze for her project, Chewing equals Brain Power, under the category Social Sciences, and Thimna Sijama (Grade 9), also from Murray High School, won bronze under the category Social Sciences with her project, Water Solutions.
