The Justice Administrative Commission invites all qualified private criminal defense attorneys to apply for inclusion in the statewide Capital Collateral Registry.
Pursuant to section 27.710(2), Florida Statutes, only members of this Registry may be appointed by the circuit court to represent death row inmates in state death penalty postconviction cases. In order to be eligible for the Registry, applicants must certify that they meet the minimum requirements of section 27.704(2), Florida Statutes, and Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.112(k).
