Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes is testing two coffeehouse-inspired menu items, the Bistro Burger and Coffee Shake, available now through April 25. We re always looking to bring delicious flavors to our guests and complement our Certified Angus Beef burgers and real ice cream, Natalie Anderson Liu, Mooyah VP of Brand, said in a company press release. Feedback from our Campfire Burger and S mores Shake LTO last year showed us guests love a great pairing. In this case, the Bistro Burger and Coffee Shake are each delicious on their own, but the duo is even more fun when enjoyed together.
The Bistro Burger features certified-Angus beef topped with melted provolone cheese, spring-mix lettuce and a creamy aioli, which incorporates the rich flavors of Herbes de Provence with just the hint of sweetness from lavender syrup. The Coffee Shake offers a perfectly rich and creamy complement to the Bistro Burger, with the added kick of real coffee, Liu said.

The National Restaurant Association is urging Congress to ditch the Raise the Wage Act, which would increase the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour more than double the current $7.25 an hour over five years. The association sent a letter to congressional leaders Tuesday citing results from a February survey polling 2,000 restaurant operators, who said that the increase would lead to job losses and higher menu prices.
The franchise owners of Mooyah Burgers, Fries and Shakes on Siegen Lane are looking to open a second location this one on Bluebonnet Boulevard in April.
