The foodbank serves the communities of Ringwood, Verwood and Fordingbridge. A spokesperson for the foodbank said: “Since January 1 we have provided enough food for three meals a day for three days for 585 people. This is a nearly 100 per cent increase on the same period in 2020. “We have been able to do this by the fantastic generosity of our communities who have continued to donate large amounts of food and money as well as providing the volunteers who have maintained our services throughout the pandemic.” Two community larders have also been launched in Ringwood and Three Legged Cross, in partnership with Fareshare, New Forest District Council, Citizens Advice New Forest, Dorset County Council and All Saints Church Verwood.
