REYNOLDSBURG, OH Three companies announced layoffs in Ohio between the end of December and mid-January.
The companies are closing facilities or shutting down lines in all of their respective towns. Alliance Data said customers decisions to pay bills online has led to high overhead costs with declining work volume. The decision to shift work away from Reynoldsburg will result in 110 layoffs starting in July and ending in October.
GE Lighting said it intends to cease production on its LED A-19 Line, which could result in the layoffs of 81 employees. Depending on negotiations, the layoffs could begin in early March.

ONTARIO, OH Three major companies announced layoffs or furloughs this week in Ohio.
The Shutterfly Lifetouch Church Business operations have been severely impacted by COVID-19, the company said in a letter to the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. Many places of worship, a primary client for the company, have seen attendance drop in the wake of the virus.
The company is cutting workforce at its facility at 2300 W. 4th Street in Ontario. All layoffs are expected to be permanent.
