What first got you interested in Racing, and at what age?
I was pretty much born into racing my parents ran a stud farm, so I was surrounded by horses right from the beginning.
My earliest race-day memory was going to the
Cox Plate in 1972 when
Gunsynd won as a four-year-old. Roy Higgins rode him, and he was a family friend of ours.

Lockdown has again changed the way we live dramatically. For most of us, it means our daily exercise has been obstructed in nature and/or duration. Either way, it’s never been more important to make the most of our two hours of allotted exercise time, for general wellbeing and mental health.

What first got you interested in racing?
My dad was a sports journalist and worked in racing at times. He wrote a book called
Courses For Horses. It was a coffee table book that featured every race track in Victoria.
In the early 1980s as a very young boy, I travelled to many of the racetracks with him and still have great memories of the excitement and colour that came with going to the races. My dad also worked for HRV which meant he was often at
