Here is a look at the special events and devotionals that were held for the young people of the Church in the past seven days. Highlights from the First Friend to Friend Event On February 20, 2021, the Church released the first ever Friend to Friend event for children. The broadcast featured a colorful rotating set and was hosted by two primary children. During the program, children colored, played with rocks, sang songs, and listened to messages by President Russell M. Nelson, Elder Ulisses Soares, and members of the Primary General Presidency.

Kimball’s stopped heart, a tube pumps it out of his body and into a machine next to the operating table. Dr. Russell M. Nelson peers down into the chest cavity. The room smells of cauterized blood vessels and arteries. Not long ago, this was unthinkable. Operating on a live heart was a medical sin when he entered medical school. The blood streaming into the machine had been returning to President Kimball’s heart after a trip through his body. The machine takes over for the heart and lungs. An oxygenator strips out carbon dioxide and delivers oxygen. Then the heart-lung machine returns the blood to the aorta, which sends it coursing to his brain, fingers and toes.

Indian students of BYU–Hawaii community share gratitude over groundbreaking of Bengaluru India Temple

Nelson’s announcement of the temple and discussed the blessings that will come to their land and people. They also shared the sacrifices they have made in the past to attend the temple and their plans to attend the completed Bengaluru India Temple in the near future. The official Newsroom of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shared on its website, “A small group of leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Bengaluru India Temple on the morning of December 2, 2020.
