Man, son held for killing woman in Kohat

KOHAT: The police arrested a man and his son for allegedly killing a woman in Togh Payan area in the limits of Muhammad Riaz Shaheed Police Station on Tuesday.
It may be mention that unknown persons had killed a woman and dumped her body in a water channel in Togh Payan area. The police had registered a case on the report of Naseer Khan, the brother of slain woman, against the unidentified accused on January 3.
After lodging the report, the police launched investigation on scientific lines and succeeded to reach the accused allegedly involved in the killing of the woman.

After lodging the report, the police launched investigation on scientific lines and succeeded to reach the accused allegedly involved in the killing of the woman. They arrested the slain woman’s brother-in-law Gul Muhammad and his son Muhammad Shahzad.
Lebanese Company to Develop Master Plan 2050 for Lahore
The Lebanese company, Darul Handsa, has been selected to develop the ‘Master Plan 2050 for Lahore’ following the evaluation of technical proposals by three companies.
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director-General, Ahmed Aziz Tarar, chaired a meeting of the consultant selection committee for the preparation of a new master plan for the provincial capital in which a financial bid of Rs. 520 million for the qualifying company was opened.

Islamabad: Kohsar police and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have recovered 50 tola gold, Rs1.28 million and weapons from the accused involved in a dacoity at jewelry shop in Super Market, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
According to details, unidentified persons looted 400 tola gold and Rs4 million from Honey Jewelers situated in Super Market, sector F-6 on November 23, 2020. Following this incident, Kohsar police registered the case on the complaint of Sheikh Muhammad Fareed.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar and DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed directed SP (City) Omer Khan to trace the culprits. He constituted special team under supervision of ASP Ayesha Gul which included SHO Asjad Mehmud, Sub-Inspector Kamal Khan and others.
LAHORE: The last phase of hiring of consultant for preparation of the Lahore Master Plan 2050 has been completed as a sub-committee has finished the review of technical proposals submitted by three shortlisted companies before submitting its report to the consultant selection committee.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar chaired a meeting of the consultant selection committee on Monday.
The meeting was informed three consortia, including Darul Hindsa (Lebanon), Mine Heart (Singapore) and Nespak (Pakistan), had been shortlisted out of the seven companies, which had expressed their interest in preparation of the master plan.
The meeting was informed significant progress had been made in preparation of the Lahore Master Plan 2050 and in the last phase of the process for hiring of consultant, the review of technical proposals submitted by the three shortlisted companies had been completed.
