DGP sanctions Rs 2.10 Cr special welfare relief for NoKs of deceased cops, SPOs
JAMMU: Continuing with its endeavour to provide financial assistance to the families of the police personnel who have passed away while in service, the Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh Friday sanctioned rupees 2.10 crore rupees as Special Welfare Relief for NoKs of deceased police personnel/SPOs, who expired while in service.
The special welfare relief of rupees 20 lakh each has been sanctioned in favour of dependents/legal heirs of deceased personnel ASIs Mir Hussain, Farooq Ahmad, Partap Singh, Muhammad Aslam and Jamal Din, HC Mohammad Latief, Sgcts. Dev Raj and Sheeraz Ahmad, W/CT. Posha Bano and CT (Opr) Manjeet Singh.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday ordered police to approach Interpol for the arrest of Balochistan separatist leader
Hyrbyair Marri who has been declared a proclaimed offender in a case pertaining to the attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi.
Three heavily armed militants belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) led by Hyrbyair who is living in exile had carried out an attack on the Chinese consulate located in the high-security zone in Clifton Block-4 on November 23, 2018.
The attackers, later identified as Abdul Razzaq, Raees Baloch and Azal Baloch, were also killed in a gun-and-grenade fight with police. A large number of weapons, ammunition and explosives were found on the attackers.
