Thornburg hires managing director to help manage muni bond funds
John Bonnell was named managing director and portfolio manager at Thornburg Investment Management.
The position is new, spokesman Michael Corrao said in an email. Mr. Bonnell will be co-manager of seven municipal bond mutual funds, including the $5.9 billion Limited Term Municipal Fund, as well as institutional strategies and separately managed accounts alongside portfolio managers

SANTA FE – Food for Love organizers are thrilled to report that so far the benefit concert has raised $862,577. All the money is going to the New Mexico Association of Food Banks who, through their partner food banks, will be able to provide 3,450,300 nutritious meals for New Mexicans who are having trouble putting food on their tables.

Finally, a home in Maine’s red-hot real estate market sold for less than its list price.
Even so, it fetched a sum higher than any other single-family dwelling in Cumberland County since Maine Listings, a subsidiary of the Maine Association of Realtors, began keeping records in 1996. It also was the most expensive sale statewide in 2020, and the seventh-highest home sale price ever recorded in Maine.
