Violence at Beleghata Assembly constituency
Incidents of violence were reported at Beleghata Assembly constituency in Kolkata. According to sources, supporters of Trinamool Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party came to blows.
In Manicktala constituency, tension prevailed as Trinamool Congress candidate and Minister Sadhan Pande and BJP candidate Kalyan Chaubey come face to face with their supporters.
A large deployment of police is deployed to prevent any clashes.

Tensions prevailed at polling booth number 126 in Sitalkuchi, where repolling is held today.
Polling was suspended here on April 10 after Central forces opened fire killing four persons. The TMC candidate objected to presence of vehicles with BJP flag near polling premises.
Bose alleged TMC candidate Jafikul Islam went to the Uttar Shahbazpur area around midnight with five vehicles.

KOLKATA: Left Front chairman Biman Bose Thursday accused Trinamool Congress candidate from Domkal in Murshidabad district of having run over three CPI(M) supporters with his vehicle, leading to the death of one of them.
Two others suffered serious injuries, he claimed.
The TMC has denied the charge.
Bose alleged TMC candidate Jafikul Islam went to the Uttar Shahbazpur area around midnight with five vehicles. Islam s vehicle ran over some people as he left the area, the veteran leader said in a statement, adding, it was a deliberate act.
