Great Wolf Lodge opened its doors in Manteca at its grand opening on Tuesday with the goal of bringing joy back to the community and beyond.  “Kids have been through a lot (during the pandemic),” general manager Alana Ostrowski said. “If I can help them smile a little bit more, that would be a good thing.”   The 29-acre, Northwestern-themed lodge located on 2500 Daniels St. across from Big League Dreams has a 95,000-square-foot water park with multiple waterslides and attractions.  The lodge is a national Make-A-Wish partner, and at its grand opening invited Jennifer Stolo, CEO of the Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada chapter of Make-A-Wish, to test-ride all its slides. For each slide she went down, the lodge would donate $1,500 to Make-A-Wish.
