Afghan protesters attack Pakistan High Commission in London By Photos showing protesters outside of the Pakistan High Commission in London Murtaza Ali Shah LONDON: A group of Afghan protesters staged a demonstration outside of the building of the Pakistan High Commission in London on Monday.  Some of the protesters attacked the building by pelting stones and throwing water bottles despite the presence of the police at the site. A protest was simultaneously held outside of Qatar’s London embassy against Qatar’s involvement in the ongoing Afghan peace process but the protest there remained peaceful. Footage of the protest shows several demonstrators throwing objects at Pakistan High Commission’s premises, located in the Lowndes Square, Knightsbridge while chanting offensive slogans. The police could be seen trying to stop the protesters from entering the building.

British-Pakistani Family Faces Racist Treatment At UK Quarantine Facility A British-Pakistani family says it faced racist treatment by the staff at Central London’s quarantine center, Millennium Gloucester Hotel South Kensington in the United Kingdom. Mansoona Naeem, the girl who spoke out against the injustice, revealed that she, along with her parents, Naeem Chaudhry and Fardous Kauser, flew back to Landon on May 1 and were shifted to the Millennium Gloucester Hotel after their hotel was changed at the last minute. She said her family lives in Manchester, but they were told to stay at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, some 200 miles away because there was no such facility in Manchester.
