The US conspiracy network Infowars has been banned from most social media platforms, but Alex Jones, its presenter, is still delivering his incendiary broadcasts on the internet, pumping out his message that the election of Joe Biden as president is part of a plot by globalists and the deep state to bring about âthe takedown of Americaâ.
And thatâs the mild version.
In recent months, one of Jonesâs favoured sources to back up his claims is Australiaâs Sky News.
Jones uses segments from Sky News Australia in his program, particularly those from Skyâs Outsiders program, as âevidenceâ from mainstream media organisations to support his conspiracy theories.

Billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch blasted what he called woke orthodoxy that he says threatens public discourse.
He made the charge while accepting the lifetime achievement award from a United Kingdom nonprofit on Saturday.
His comments echo many other conservatives claims that a left-dominated cancel culture threatens free debate and conservative ideas.
Rupert Murdoch, the billionaire media tycoon behind Fox News and News Corp, has slammed an awful woke orthodoxy that he says stifles debate and promotes conformity on social media.
The paper was among the first to endorse Trump s presidential campaign in 2016 and earlier this year, its board urged voters to back the Republican s bid for a second term, writing that his re-election would be the best choice for the United States - an endeavour he eventually lost to Democratic rival Joe Biden.
However, Trump continues to spout baseless allegations that widespread voter fraud marred the November election and rigged the results against him. Despite his legal team launching lawsuits in several states, none have proved successful - and so far, there has been no viable evidence to corroborate his claims.
