Western Native Voice hosts clothing drive

BILLINGS - The non-profit, Western Native Voice, is organizing a clothing drive at the First Congregational Church downtown. The organization is accepting new or gently used clothes and will donate everything to members of the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservations. If you re interested in donating, all you have to do is pull up in your vehicle to the marked area in front of the church and drop off your items. Program Director Abdel Russell says they will accept recently washed or dry cleaned clothes in labeled plastic bags. We re primarily targeting needy families on the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Russell said. We have community organizers there.  It s a small rural area so everybody knows everybody, and we re trying to target those people who need it.

The ceiling was imposed by a nine-judge Constitution Bench in the Indira Sahwney case in 1992, also called the Mandal verdict.  States were also asked to respond to a 2018 Constitution (102nd Amendment) Act, which gave constitutional recognition to National Commission for Backward Classes. Article 342A was introduced via the amendment, through which the competence of states to make laws on reservation for backward classes was taken away.

Kabira Mobility Garners 6,000 Bookings For Its Electric Motorcycles

Kabira has two electric motorcycles in its portfolio: KM 3000 and KM 4000. Both bikes have reasonable performance and range credentials. Pricing is par for the course. Since being put on sale in February 2021, Kabira Mobility has received a great response for its electric motorcycles, the KM 3000 and KM 4000. After 6000 units were booked in just four days, further bookings have now been temporarily suspended as the first lot of bikes has been accounted for. While these electric motorcycles boast good performance, we found serious issues with both the bikes. Our first ride experience with the two Kabiras was plagued with mechanical maladies. Yet, there is a glimmer of hope that the company will resolve all glitches by May 1, which is when the bikes are slated for delivery. Can it be a worthy rival to the Revolt RV400?
