It is positive,” Maidul Islam told EFE. Zia’s office, however, denied the report. “We have been told by her personal physician that she had only a regular health check-up Saturday. There was no Covid-19 test,” her spokesperson Shyrul Kabir Khan told EEE. The former prime minister, convicted in two corruption cases, was released on parole for six months on Mar.25, 2020, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
