Shanmugam resigns as adviser to TN government Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA Former Chief Secretary K. Shanmugam, who was in January appointed as the Advisor to the State government resigned from his post on Monday. In a communication to the Public Secretary, Mr. Shanmugam cited personal reasons behind his decision. His resignation comes against the backdrop of a change in government in Tamil Nadu following the DMK s victory in the Assembly elections. Last year a delegation of DMK leaders led by T R Baalu had claimed that Mr Shanmugam as Chief Secretary did not treat them appropriately when they met him to submit petitions.

New Liquidator for Mapusa Urban Co-op Bank Former Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Anthony De Sa, Retd. IAS has been appointed as the new liquidator for Goa based Mapusa Urban Cooperative Bank. The term period will be of two years and the liquidator has been asked to submit quarterly reports about progress of liquidation to the office of Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies. De Sa has formally taken over the charge as the liquidator. Readers would recall that the Bank was put under liquidation on 23.04.2020 wherein Daulat Anandrao Hawaldar, Retired IAS was appointed as the liquidator of the bank. The tenure of Hawaldar was completed on 23.04.2021.

Technuter STT Global Data Centres India (STT GDC India), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, today unveiled an Experience Centre at its STT Bengaluru DC 3 facility in collaboration with Schneider Electric India Foundation (SEIF). From policy advocacy, financial assistance, promotion and development support to promoting entrepreneurial talent, each of these organisations have different focus areas and strategies to achieve that goal.
