DeVonta Smith Finalizes Rookie Deal Former Crimson Tide wide receiver and 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Devonta Smith, has come to terms with his new team. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Smith to his rookie deal Thursday, securing the Heisman winning playmaker for at least the next four seasons. Mark Ingram Announces New Jersey Number

Former Crimson Tide running back and the program s first ever Heisman winner, Mark Ingram, announced he will wear No. 2 for his new team, the Houston Texans, with a twitter post this passed week. The former Alabama standout was cut by the Ravens in January after spending two years in Baltimore before signing a one-year $3 million deal with Houston.  Ingram was drafted back in 2011 by the New Orleans Saints with the 28th overall pick and spent eight seasons in the Big Easy, making the Pro Bowl in 2014 and 2017 and rushing for over 1000 yards in two of his last three years. Despite solid performances in the years prior, 2018 saw Ingram take a back seat to Alvin Kamara who took the league by storm with his combination of pure running ability and excellent skills in the receiving game.
