NFL history is littered with players who have dominated the league despite entering the pros as undrafted free agents.
Examples over the last few decades include quarterbacks Warren Moon, Tony Romo and Kurt Warner, linebackers James Harrison and London Fletcher, wide receivers Rod Smith and Wes Welker, running back Priest Holmes, tight end Antonio Gates and defensive tackle John Randle.
With the NFL draft now complete, all 32 teams are clamoring to sign undrafted free agents in hopes of finding the next diamonds in the rough.
Here s a look at some notable names from this year and where they ve landed.

Pick 9 - Trade with Dallas for Pick 10 and Pick 115 (they take Jaycee Horn)
Pick 9 , Trey Lance, QB ND State - I think this happens if the rumors are correct and the 49ers lack Mac Jones (which I think is a huge mistake). While I could see us trading back, I think Paton if Lance falls to 9 has to take him. He will have not spent any draft capital to move up and you have a guy who many say is one of the most athletic prospects coming out but also the smartest QB coming out. While I get he will likely not be ready right away, he actually has more snaps under center than the other QBs on the board and has operated a pro-light system at ND State. With Bridgewater here, it gives the Broncos some very good options at QB in the coming years, if Drew Lock progresses then great, you either stick with him and have a guy you can maybe move or move Lock for some draft picks, if Lock

College football players Micah Parsons, Kellen Mond and Pennei Sewell all come from military families and are looking forward to the 2021 NFL Draft.

The NFL holds its annual draft starting Thursday, April 29, in Cleveland, and the festivities will run through Saturday. As always, there are some star college football players with strong military connections in their families, so this year we decided to highlight a few of these young men.
The first three on the list have worked with USAA, the NFL’s Salute to Service partner, to tell their stories in advance of the draft, and we’ve included links to their videos below.
It pays to have a backup plan.
The Bears had one when they couldn t trade for Russell Wilson, signing Andy Dalton. Although, it does appear they may have liked Ryan Fitzpatrick better as Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reported they considered signing him but Pittsburgh got it done first.
After backup plans, there is the plan of last resort. In free agency, that might have been bringing back Mitchell Trubisky. It didn t get to this.
From all the attention they paid to passers, it appears the Bears would like to add one of the first-round quarterbacks in the NFL Draft. The fallback in case this fails might be a second-rounder like Davis Mills.
