Karachi University Changes Admission Criteria After 75% Candidates Fail Entry Test
For the first time in its history, Karachi University (KU) has decided to admit students under an open merit policy after more than 75% of the applicants had failed their entry tests.
In this regard, the KU administration has annulled the results of the entry tests of the Masters Program of four departments. Candidates will now be admitted to departments of Pakistan studies, commerce, mass communication, and criminology under open merit.

NEW HANOVER CTY - The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners held a swearing in ceremony on Monday December 7th. Incumbent County Commissioner Jonathan Barfield, Jr. and newly-elected Commissioners Deb Hays and Bill Rivenbark took the oath of office.
Commissioner Barfield is entering his fourth term on the Board of Commissioners. He s severed since 2008. Commissioners Hays and Rivenbark will be serving their first terms on the board. All three will serve four-year terms and join Commissioners Julia Olson-Boseman and Rob Zapple on the board.
