Geo-political priorities changed to geo-economic goals: FM April 9, 2021 Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has appreciated the role and support of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in developmental projects in Pakistan and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. He was talking to Assistant Secretary-General and Director of UNDP’s Regional Bureau for Asia Pacific Kanni Wignaraja virtually on Thursday. UNDP Resident Representative Knut Ostby was also present during this mutual meeting. Issues of mutual interest, including ongoing UNDP projects in Pakistan, were discussed during the meeting. The foreign minister, on the occasion, said that Pakistan is promoting economic diplomacy effectively and changed its geo-political priorities to geo-economic goals.
