But don’t be expecting such balmy conditions in the immediate future: Environment Canada is forecasting Windsor-Essex temperatures to remain below freezing at least until next Monday.
West Norfolk man, 74, in court over sexual offences against boys

A 74-year-old West Norfolk man has appeared in court over sexual offences against boys aged under 14.
John Anthony Turner faces two counts gross indecency with one boy and two counts involving another.
He is also charged with six counts of indecent assault against three boys.

All of the matters are said to have happened between December 31, 1978, and January 20, 1982
Turner, of Coronation Avenue, West Winch, gave no indication of pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Lynn on Thursday.
The bench declined jurisdiction and the case will next be heard at Norwich Crown Court on January 14.
