Tara Whelan has been missing since Tuesday and a man has been arrested in connection to her disappearance A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police in connection with a missing persons appeal for 18-year-old Tara Whelan. Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Tara, who went missing on Tuesday, December 15. Tara, from Halifax, was last seen in Market Street in Halifax town centre on the morning of December 15 with an unknown man who has now been spoken to as a witness. Police believe she was in the Parkinson Lane/Queen s Road area of Halifax at around 1pm later that day.

We are also asking for any dash cam footage from any members of the public who were travelling on the Ankerdine Road, travelling from Upper Broadheath towards Broad Green, as well as footage from those travelling along the A44, Broadwas, Cotheridge and Ankerdine Road areas during the hours of 5pm to midnight on Saturday.”
