Two Herts teens have been arrested and charged with murder after a devoted dad-of-two died after being hit by a car.
Tributes to dad who died after being hit by car as two charged with murder THE family of a man who died after being hit by a car have described him as a “genuine force of life” with “a heart of gold”, who would always “go out of his way to help others”. Neil Darnell, 50, was found injured around 10am on Friday, April 16, after being hit by a car in Farm Hill Road, Waltham Abbey. Sadly, he died in hospital two days later as a result of his injuries. Following his death, his family said: “No family should ever have to go through losing a loved one in these circumstances.
