The Thomas brothers who wrote the 1987 sci-fi action film Predator filed a federal lawsuit Thursday against Disney over their rights to the franchise.
Jim and John Thomas filed their lawsuit in California to confirm their ability to apply the termination provision provided in United States copyright law, according to an article by The Hollywood Reporter.

On February 14, Chief Minister of Arunanchal Pradesh Pema Khandu would lay at Tawang, the foundation stone for a memorial to be built in the remembrance of Major Bob Khathing. He was an Indian Army officer who played a great role in establishing Indian sovereignty in the then North Eastern Frontier Agency (NEFA), now Arunachal Pradesh. It was on this day 70 years ago that Major Khathing saved Tawang for India.
Pella donates $15 K to Salvation Army of Macomb

MACOMB The Pella Rolscreen Foundation, a non-profit organization affiliated with Pella Corporation, made a $15,000 donation to the Salvation Army in Macomb.
“I am very excited and grateful for this generous donation,” said Commanding Officer of Macomb Salvation Army, Major Allen Otto. “It will help us continue to provide well-balanced meals to the people of McDonough County, and it demonstrates how valuable Pella is to our community. They know how important it is to give back.”
The Salvation Army has been active in Macomb since 1889, listening to and meeting the needs of the local community which include addressing food insecurity.
