LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN)- With the 4th of July upon us and summer heat steadily rising, pets may need a little extra attention in order to stay safe.
Veterinarians say it s best to keep our furry friends hydrated and indoors as much as possible. If that isn’t an option -there are some safety precautions to take.
“In Louisiana, it gets extremely hot and humid and our pets are not immune to that,” Caroline Dubuisson, a local veterinarian, said.
