USAG HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea United States Forces Korea (USFK) started inoculating military and civilian healthcare workers, first responders and the USFK command team with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine today across three USFK medical treatment facilities.
The three locations administering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine are the Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital at United States Army Garrison - Humphreys, 51st Medical Group at Osan Air Base and 8th Medical Group at Kunsan Air Base.
USFK was previously identified as one of four overseas locations to receive the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine through the Department of Defense’s deliberate and phased distribution plan.

U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) began administering its initial doses of a COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday to health care workers, first responders, and its command team, including Gen. Robert Abrams, officials said.
The first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine arrived in South Korea on Friday and had been in cold storage at Camp Carroll in the southeastern county of Chilgok before being distributed to USFK s three military treatment facilities Monday, according to the U.S. military.

Seoul, Dec 29 : The U. Forces Korea (USFK) announced on Tuesday that ithas started an initial Covid-19 vaccination for healthcare workers, first responders and its command team.
In a statement, the South Korea-based USFK said that it began inoculating military and civilian healthcare workers, first responders and the command team with the Moderna vaccine across three USFK medical treatment facilities, reports Xinhua news agency.
The three facilities are the Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital at the US Army Garrison in Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, around 70 km south of Seoul; the 51st Medical Group at Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek; and the 8th Medical Group at Kunsan Air Base in Kunsan city.

9 CAMP CARROLL, Waegwan, Republic of Korea – The Army Field Support Battalion–Northeast Asia, received the fiscal 2020 Army Award for Maintenance Excellence here during a ceremony at Warehouse K, Dec. 10.
The battalion was recognized in the Active Army Table of Distributions and Allowances Unit Category.
The award, recognizing the best in Army maintenance operations, was presented to Lt. Col. Edward K. Woo, commander, AFSBn-NEA, by Col. Wheeler R. Manning, commander, 403rd Army Field Support Brigade. The 403rd AFSB, located at Camp Henry in Daegu, is the AFSBn–NEA’s higher headquarters.
