Victims of Kabul School Bombing, All Teenagers, Laid to Rest
Over 60 victims of the school bombing most of whom were students and younger than 18 years old were buried on a hill in the west of Kabul on Sunday, a day after the deadly attack.
Their families said that most of the victims were teenage girls who studied at Sayed-ul-Shuhada High School in the Dasht-e-Barchi area in Kabul’s District 13. These girls, their families said, were faced with many hardships but were eager to pursue their studies and make a brighter future for themselves.
The mourning families said the government has ignored the people and has failed to ensure their safety. They say they have lost hope in the government.

The body of Mohammad Nasir, a Covid victim in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, reached a crematorium on Wednesday while that of another coronavirus patient, Ram Prasad, was carried to a graveyard, the PPE jackets in which they had been wrapped obscuring their identities and causing the mix-up.
Farmers Nasir and Ram Prasad had been admitted to Cosmos Hospital.
Nasir’s relatives received a body wrapped in a PPE jacket from the hospital and took it to Shah Bulaki Graveyard in the Civil Lines area of Moradabad city and buried it in the afternoon.
The relatives of Ram Prasad took the body handed over to them to the Moksh Dham crematorium on Delhi Road and were waiting for their turn when a relative realised something was wrong.
