ANN ARBOR – PassiveBolt Inc. announced Monday it has been named a CES 2021 Innovation Awards Honoree for the second year in a row for its newest Shepherd Lock product.
The world’s most influential technology event, CES 2021 is taking place for the first time digitally now through Jan. 14.
Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Assiciation, the annual CES Innovation Awards program is a competition which recognizes groundbreaking consumer technologies across 28 product categories. Each product submitted is judged by a panel of industry experts spanning engineering, design, media and more based on innovation, design, aesthetic, engineering and functionality.

The records obtained by the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana detail the formal process used by NOPD detectives to request facial recognition searches from the State Police Fusion Center. The civil rights non-profit made the documents public Monday.
