Cardi B recently released her latest single, Up, and is already responding to accusations that the song was copied from someone else.
Shortly after the song s Friday release, New Jersey artists Mir Pesos and Mir Fontane accused her of ripping their 2020 song Stuck. Pesos and Fontane took to Twitter to post side by side shots of their music video and Cardi s so viewers could notice the similarities between the hooks.
Cardi B s fans pointed out that Mir Pesos and Mir Fontane released their song on September 15, 2020, while Cardi previewed hers on August 7, 2020 during Instagram Live session with Megan Thee Stallion. Cardi B retweeted the post and said she had never heard of the artists accusing her of ripping off their single.
