Sea anglers in Kerry are being encouraged to take part in an online survey.Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) has launched the new survey to collect changes in sea.

Kathriona Devereux AND so Blackpool bids farewell to the River Bride. The river will no longer flow through the village on its way to meet the Lee. The recently announced go-ahead for a €20 million flood relief scheme of the Bride is going to essentially remove the river from the centre of Blackpool. The river will disappear into a drain (or ‘culvert’, which sounds so much nicer), and with it much of the wildlife and biodiversity that the river supports.

There are numerous roles available across six operational districts. The roles are available on a six month basis with contracts commencing from Monday the 31st of May 2021 and training provided to all new recruits. Interviews will take place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of April 2021. The locations for the new positions will be based across the country including the  Shannon River Basin District which includes Co Clare as well as Listowel, County Kerry; Limerick, County Limerick; Lough Sheelin, County Cavan; Drumsna, County Leitrim.
