When Amy Greene left Grand Forks for Kamloops in 2008, she didn t intend to stay.
She came for a 28-day substance abuse recovery program at the Phoenix Centre. Kamloops was her best option because she didn t want to recover in a big city like Vancouver and she doesn t like Kelowna, she said Saturday. I wanted to stay in the Interior. I thought I d come to Kamloops because this is the closest recovery community to Grand Forks, said Greene.
At the time, she d been an addict for about two years. She didn t know she was a month pregnant with her son, Gordon, who is now four.

A Few of Our Favorite Things in 2020

With 2020 being the year that it was, we wanted to take some time to highlight the things that distracted us from all the negativity and brought us joy throughout this mostly miserable year. Whether it was video games, comics, books, TV shows, movies, or podcasts we all had more than enough time to discover a new way to spend our free-time or take comfort in an old favorite.
Since this year was challenging for all of us, we here at PREVIEWSworld wanted to take time to share the many things that helped us get through the year in the hopes you can discover something new yourself.
