View Comments A family displaced after their mobile home was damaged during a severe thunderstorm that rocked the El Paso County area earlier this month is asking for help. El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies July 11 responded to a mobile home in the 500 block of Talbot Avenue in Vinton after receiving a report of a tree falling on a mobile home, sheriff’s officials said. The tree fell on the mobile home, causing extensive damage and flooding. The family, who is only identified as the Zamora family, were displaced, but Red Cross officials were able to find them a place to stay for a couple of nights, officials said. The family of three is currently staying with other family members.
