The new Recovering America’s Wildlife Act could provide $50 million in relief for Texas critters.
A new bipartisan bill introduced to Congress appropriately on Earth Day seeks to bring thousands of new conservation jobs, and restore the habitats and futures of thousands of wildlife species across the nation including the diverse flora and fauna of the Lone Star State.
The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, using funding from existing resources will not require you to pay any additional taxes, but funnel over $50 million annually toward Texas conservation efforts. That is if it passes. Currently, the bill has amassed over 185 cosponsors 14 of which are from Texas.
