The PA Game Commission HARRISBURG Appropriately introduced in Congress on Earth Day, the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act could rank among the most meaningful initiatives for fish and wildlife in history, the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission announced. The bipartisan legislation introduced by U.S. Reps. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-Neb.) would dedicate $1.3 billion annually to state fish and wildlife agencies, and $97.5 million to tribal fish and wildlife managers, enacting a 20th Century funding solution to address increasing declines of the nation’s fish and wildlife and their natural habitats. It’s estimated one-third of the nation’s fish and wildlife are vulnerable or at-risk.

New bill proposes more jobs and investment in Texas wildlife mySA 1 hr ago © Provided by mySA The new Recovering America’s Wildlife Act could provide $50 million in relief for Texas critters.  A new bipartisan bill introduced to Congress appropriately on Earth Day seeks to bring thousands of new conservation jobs, and restore the habitats and futures of thousands of wildlife species across the nation including the diverse flora and fauna of the Lone Star State.  The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, using funding from existing resources will not require you to pay any additional taxes, but funnel over $50 million annually toward Texas conservation efforts. That is if it passes. Currently, the bill has amassed over 185 cosponsors 14 of which are from Texas.
