When Kelly Klein, a kindergarten teacher in Minnesota, first battled stage 3 ovarian cancer five years ago, she had to take off about six months due to her aggressive treatments.
Over the summer, when Klein, 54, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer again, she decided she would do whatever it takes to continue to be able to teach, a career she calls her passion.

PINE CITY, Minn. This holiday season, a Vietnam veteran from Pine City, Minnesota had just one wish to meet his health care “angels” who saved his life.
Last winter, Dan Arntsen, 77, suddenly fell in his backyard while feeding the birds. He suffered an aortic dissection, a tear in the aorta.
He rushed from M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, Minnesota to M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, where he called his wife during a harrowing 35-mile ambulance ride.
