2 suspects wanted in attempted north side burglary

MILWAUKEE - Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects wanted in an attempted burglary near 45th and Lisbon around 6:15 a.m. on July 11.
Suspect #1 is described as an African American male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’10 and had a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with a white shirt underneath, blue jeans, black backpack and black/white shoes.
Suspect #2 is described as an African American female, 40-45 years old, 5’8 and had a slender build. She was last seen wearing a white head wrap, dark green jacket, red pants, black socks, black slip-on shoes and was carrying a blue bag.
40th and North shooting: Milwaukee man wounded, suspect sought

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred near 40th and W. North Avenue on Friday morning, July 16.
The shooting happened around 11:40 a.m. and stemmed from an argument, police say.
The victim, a 33-year-old Milwaukee man, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
Shots fired report on I-94 at Hawley, sheriff s office investigates

MILWAUKEE - Eastbound I-94 has reopened at N. Hawley Road after the Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office (MCSO) were investigating a report of shots fired on the freeway.
Eastbound traffic was diverted off onto Hawley Road. The freeway on-ramp from Mitchell Boulevard was also closed during the investigation.

The Milwaukee Common Council in a special meeting Friday, July 16 started the process of approving the settlement with ousted Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales, but the nearly year-long fight over his ouster is still weeks away from being finalized.
MILWAUKEE - In a copy of the settlement agreement between ousted police chief Alfonso Morales and the city of Milwaukee, which FOX6 acquired Friday, the city agrees to pay the ousted chief $627,000, plus the city will pay Morales share of mediation fees, which total $1,575. By entering the agreement, both parties resolve all claims, including damages, wages, and back pay. The city in no way admits they broke the law or contractual provision, nor do they admit negligence or culpability.
