By the tens of thousands they came into downtown Milwaukee, fans filling the streets as double-decker buses rolled on by carrying a championship team in its full glory.
It was all so loud and joyous, the roars echoing off buildings, confetti shot in the air, a sublime moment for a city that had spent five decades waiting for another championship.
Thursday, Milwaukee was transformed into Bucks Town as fans and players celebrated the NBA title with a parade, a short ceremony and some brief, yet heartfelt remarks. Milwaukee, we did it baby! We did it. . This is our city, Giannis Antetokounmpo told the crowd assembled outside Fiserv Forum.

MILWAUKEE â The 2020-21 NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks will celebrate their first championship in 50 years with a parade through downtown Milwaukee tomorrow, Thursday, July 22, beginning at 11 a.m.
Bucks players, coaches, owners, alumni and staff will take part in the parade, which will begin at the intersection of E. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Prospect Ave. The parade will then proceed west on E. Wisconsin Ave. before turning north onto N. Water St. From there, the route will continue on N. Water St. to E. Knapp St. before ending on E. Knapp St. at the Milwaukee River.

Milwaukee, we did it! The Bucks won the NBA Finals for the first time in 50 years! I m still buzzing with excitement from last night s win. As Milwaukee residents, we represented our city the right way. If you want to continue the celebration, be there for our Milwaukee Bucks parade. It all starts tomorrow Thursday, July 22, at 11am on the intersection of E. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Prospect Ave and will go to E. Knapp St. at the Milwaukee River. Don t be late and come down to celebrate our wonderful city. Tomorrow we will be joined by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
