– We’re live from the Capitol Wrestling Center at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as Vic Joseph welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix as fans chant “NXT!” from the crowd.

We go right to the ring and out first comes Dakota Kai with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. They pose in the middle of the ring to a mixed reaction. Mercedes Martinez is out next as Alicia Taylor does the ring introductions. Gonzalez stares down her next challenger as she marches to the ring.
Ted DiBiase Finally Meets Cameron Grimes On WWE NXT

WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase Sr. has finally appeared on WWE NXT TV for a segment with Cameron Grimes.
There have been rumors on DiBiase appearing on NXT ever since Grimes started name-dropping him when he returned with his new “big money” gimmick a few months back. That million dollar cameo finally happened during tonight’s NXT show on the USA Network as The Million Dollar Man one-upped The Technical Savage.
The segment started with Grimes shopping for a watch at a local jewelry store. Grimes told the jeweler that he was looking to get something nice for a special someone… himself. He went on to say he was looking for the shiniest, most expensive watch in the entire city. The segment was “to be continued…” until later when Grimes finally decided on a new timepiece.

On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, former NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai was being interviewed by Beth Phoenix as she spoke about wanting to take some time off away from NXT to rest and recharge her batteries after a lengthy reign as champion. She was then interrupted by Franky Monet (and her dog), as she told Shirai and Phoenix that she would take over and rule the NXT Women’s Division while Shirai is gone. In response, Shirai launched into a lengthy rant in Japanese and finally said in English that she preferred cats before walking off. You can check out some highlights from the segment below:
