Sekar Jaganathan, director of digital strategy at Malaysia’s Kenanga Investment Bank Speech recognition has become a powerful tool for authenticating customers in a seamless manner, says Sekar Jaganathan, director of digital strategy at Malaysia’s Kenanga Investment Bank. “Technologies like AI [artificial intelligence] can be leveraged to distinguish between mimicry and speech from a real person, Jaganathan says. The way you breathe when you are mimicking is different from when you speak naturally. Many banks are already leveraging this technology. Such technologies ensure that you might have a more stringent customer experience during onboarding, but we will have a beautiful digital experience for customers after onboarding.”

KINGSVILLE, Texas â âMilly is about a year old,â says local animal advocate Lisa Bockholt. âShe is a German Shepherd mix maybe mixed with some terrier. She s young. She only weighs about 29 pounds so she s under 30 pounds, probably won t get too much bigger. She s full of energy. Just loves to play and is very people-friendly.â
Milly has been at the Kingsville Animal Control and Care Center for close to a month. âI d have to double-check her dates, but she s been here a long time and people keep passing her by, and she s also cute. I don t know why,â Bockholt said.

Imagine if your digital marketing tools had the capacity to predict the future. What would you do with that crystal ball? How about quoting the most likely price to incentivize a purchase? Or providing each user a set of search results that have shown to be the most likely to yield a conversion? Recommending a product through a web campaign that can be most effective to prompt an engagement? How about selecting the best ad for a specific user with the highest propensity for clicks?
This is where artificial intelligence is most effective for digital marketers.
Unfortunately, a large portion of online literature focused on AI is either fixated on a Matrix-like singularity or mind-numbing automation that can barely qualify as intelligent. In fact, the number of times I am introduced to artificial intelligence in commercial products that later turns out to be pure automation is astounding.
