MILFORD The Milford Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in a burglary at the Sip and Dip convenience story.
According to police, on Nov. 19 a white male wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers hat and thick-framed glasses burglarized the store, which is located at 361 Bridgeport Ave. Anyone with identifying information is asked to contact Detective Mitchell Warwick at 203-783-4730 or email mwarwick@milfordct.gov.

MILFORD (WXYZ) â As many of us continue to acquire new skills during the pandemic to help pass the time, one local 11-year-old has discovered he has quite the talent for woodworking.
Inspired by a request from his grandmother for a side table, Nathan McConnell of Milford went to work. I decided to try to put one together and it turned out pretty good, said Nathan, who did all of the building himself â from breaking apart an old pallet to the cutting and the nailing.

Ann Arbor, Milford PD help sponsor wig donation to 11-year-old with cancer

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) â A young girl with cancer has received a special gift, a wig made possible through donations from both the Ann Arbor and Milford Police Departments.
It was during July 2020, during the pandemic, that Harper Mathis was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer. The 11-year-old has been without hair since September, but over the weekend that changed.
On Saturday, Harper got a bright spot in her day, she received her first wig.
Helping raise the funds to make it possible, the Ann Arbor and Milford Police Departments. Harperâs mother Shellie Mathis is a police officer, working for Ann Arbor PD for the last 21 years. Her friend at Milford PD started the ball rolling to make this possible.
