WA Nationals Leader Mia Davies says she is she prepared to step up to the role of opposition leader in Western Australia.
“I’m hopeful that we’ll still have many of our members and we’ll still have an opportunity to provide some balance in the parliament but there’s no doubt it’s going to be a hard four years,” she told Sky News.
Ms Davies said her focus had been helping regional Western Australia in the parliament but she is ready for the new role.
“We are prepared to step up to do what is needed to make sure there is a strong voice in the parliament to balance out what will be a very powerful premier and a very powerful cabinet.”
