According to the PDSA Animal Wellbeing Report, 13 per cent of dogs within the UK are NOT walked daily. Alongside this, many dog owners could be under-exercising or over-exercising their pet. Exercise is crucial for your dog s health and wellbeing, including their mental health therefore it is essential to get this right. In general, most dogs benefit from between 30 minutes to two hours of physical activity per day. With some breeds needing more exercise than others. There is no ‘perfect formular’ to determine how long to walk your dog, but the general rule of thumb is people breaking it up to two or three walks per day.
