Crime Stoppers welcomes new leaders (2/10/2021)
The Winona Area Crime Stoppers Annual Meeting was held this past Tuesday, February 2, at the Winona Family Restaurant.
The election of officers for the year 2021 resulted in the re-election of Wayne Valentine, of Winona, as chairman, Dean Beckman, of Winona, as treasurer, David Eckert, of Minnesota City, as secretary, and Angela Hundt, of Winona, and Walt Kelly were elected as co-vice-chairman.
The meetings were few, but crimes continue. Several rewards were made during 2020.

(KWNO)- One person was injured following a three-vehicle crash in Winona Saturday morning.
The State Patrol says the vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 61 and Gilmore Ave. 30-year-old Brianna L. Rongitsch of Inver Grove Heights was taken to Winona Health for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Two other drivers, a man from Minnesota City and a man from Winona, were not hurt.
