The Minnesota National Guard will supply troops and support to Washington, D.C., next week during the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.
Biden is scheduled to take his oath of office during a ceremony at noon Eastern on Wednesday, Jan. 20. The inauguration date and time are dictated in the Constitution s 20th amendment.
More than 130 soldiers from the 1-94th Cavalry Squadron B Troop, along with airmen from the Minnesota Air National Guard s Duluth-based 148th Fighter Wing and transportation support from the 133rd Airlift Wing, will serve in the capital city.
